Camcorder help *sony*? - love making video stream

I do not really see why the use of this site. It does not work, but I'll try again.
I have a camcorder, a Sony Handycam. Use the tape, but also connected to my computer. I have a number of disk image that makes all these things, but it says nothing about the load on the computer.
I am a filmmaker, and I know how it works, the problem is saved to my computer.
It has USB streaming. I do not know if this helps at all. I have for a long time and I want to really learn, because I do like videos and now I want to edit. Pleasepleasepleaseplease help ..

  1. You need to connect the DV camcorder connected to your computer via a FireWire cable. This is probably a 4-pin to 6-pin FireWire cable.

    You may need to install a Firewire card. FireWire, IEEE1394 and i.Link are all the same.

    If everything is connected, and the camcorder is in "Play / Change mode, you can see the camera Movie Maker and import the video. Sometimes there are problems with Windows Movie Maker to do - just download and install WinDV

    USB does not work for transferring video from miniDV tape to the camcorder to the computer. USB transfer, and transfer images from a memory card only ... As you already know.
